Uniform Information

Top: Boys

Shirts must be long enough to be tucked inside pants at all times. No manufacturer logos or labels are allowed. (VHS logo only)

  • Freshman: SOLID HUNTER GREEN golf-style or button down dress shirt
  • Sophomores: SOLID HUNTER GREEN golf-style or button down dress shirt
  • Juniors: SOLID HUNTER GREEN golf-style or button down dress shirt.
  • Seniors: SOLID GRAY golf-style or button down dress shirt
  • Undershirts: male/female: SOLID WHITE School iron-on logo patches will be available for purchase during registration for all grade levels

Bottom: Boys

Pants-male/female

  • Khaki, full-length, cotton twill uniform pants with belt loops that fit naturally at the waist.
  • The following styles ARE NOT ALLOWED: capri length pants, drawstring pants, corduroy pants, denim or cargo pants, form-fitting or tight-fitting pants.
  • Pants must be full length and cannot be worn rolled up or folded to a shorter length.
  • All pants must be worn around the natural waistline. (NO SAGGING)
  • Oversized pants are not acceptable.

Belt

SOLID BLACK/Belts must be worn at all times.

Socks: Girls

SOLID WHITE or BLACK (No leggings)

Socks: Boys

SOLID WHITE or BLACK

Shoes

  • Athletic, oxford, or loafer only – Shoes must cover the heel of the foot. NO CROCS, FLIP FLOPS, etc.

Outerwear: Male/Female

  • SOLID BLACK OR HUNTER GREEN - heavy or lightweight jacket or fleece (No other colors allowed)
  • Approved Vigor sports jackets are allowed as well as approved VHS athletic or organization jackets.
  • Rain coats or boots (worn during rainy weather only) must be removed and placed in the locker upon entering the building. NO HATS OR CAPS ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING. HOODS ARE ACCEPTABLE BUT MUST NOT BE WORN INSIDE THE BUILDING.

Additional Notes

Sweaters/Sweatshirts/Blazers - Male/Female

  • Sweaters: SOLID HUNTER GREEN OR WHITE (Vests and cardigans are allowed.)
  • Sweatshirts: Only SOLID BLACK or VIGOR school, athletic, or organizational sweatshirts allowed. HOODS ARE ACCEPTABLE BUT MUST NOT BE WORN INSIDE THE BUILDING. Sweaters/sweatshirts must be worn over the uniform shirts and blouses. The uniform shirt and blouse collars must be visible. No manufacturer logos or labels are allowed.
  • Blazers: SOLID HUNTER GREEN

All students at Vigor High School must wear uniforms effective the first day of school.

Additional Notes: Students are permitted to wear Vigor affiliated T-shirts on Friday
